Details

This session is built for leaders that want to enhance the resilience in their students. The transition through school, university and young adulthood are accompanied by a number of stressors and significant life stages. Throw into the mix school/work pressures and an increasing need to fit in with secular society, and it's no wonder that young people often find their transitional years stressful and overwhelming. To tackle these difficulties, it's crucial to encourage youth to develop positive coping strategies. I will provide leaders with practical evidence-based resilience tools that they can embed into their school classrooms to manage the stressors faced by their youth. By learning these tools, they will be able to build resilience and be set up with an important skill for life.
