Details
The importance of a community approach to nurturing children through their growth and development to support flow in their education will be shared. Following this, elaborating on and discussing in further detail aspects of; techniques for meeting and navigating intense emotions both at home and school, practices that cultivate positive states of mind like gratitude, kindness, joy & compassion, the role mindfulness and strength based language plays in communication and interaction, and support for developing a daily sitting practice.

Biography
Michelle has been a secondary teacher for 15 years, and a Student Wellbeing Coordinator for 2 years. Having also received her Masters in Holistic Well-being, her passion for teaching now not only lies within the classroom delivering curriculum based content, but also extends to the greater school community. Michelle is currently undertaking studies within the University of East London, where she is completing her Masters in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology. Her focus within education is strongly aligned with Positive Education, coaching and Well-being for staff, students and their families.
