Details

Australian teachers and leaders are expected to use data to monitor student progress and achievement to maximise the impact that they have in classrooms and schools. However, university degrees are only just now beginning to catch up to this need, and as a result, many teachers in Australia have never undergone training on how to use and analyse data. This session is for educators who want to build their skills in using and analysing data. It will cover the different types of data that are available in schools, the concept of triangulation, and propose some ways that educators can ask about, and begin to act on data.
