WD40 is an example of 39 failures before they got it right. In education we must learn to fail before we can truly succeed. In this session you will be introduced to Design Thinking, a mindset and approach to learning, collaboration and problem solving that embraced failure and celebrates successes. This process helps design meaningful solutions in the classroom, at your school and in your community. You will explore the 5 stages of the model and how to implement them with students. Design Thinking can be used to enhance STEM pedagogy. You will then unleash your creative problem-solving skills as you participate in a mini design thinking challenge.
