Grant will discuss the C's of future-focused learning and how they can be effectively integrated into learning and teaching programs. He will discuss how you can get teacher 'buy-in' when you are implementing future-focused principles in your school. Grant will show tried and tested future-focused lessons that have brought successful change to the learning and teaching of schools he has taught at.

The C's of future-focused learning. How can I empower my staff to use future-focused pedagogy in the classroom?
Biography
Grant has worked across both private and public school systems over the past 18 years. In his time he has had leadership roles in the area of ICT where he was at the forefront of ICT integration into the classroom through roles such as ICT and Innovations Leader. He currently lectures in Primary Human Society and its Environment in the Master of Teaching degree at Western Sydney University. Grant is a regular on the conference circuit as well, presenting all over Australia at conferences including EduTech, Leading a Digital School, National Education Summit, Digital Schools Conference, MANTLE and FlipCon Australia. In 2018 he completed his Master of Education (STEM) - the first in Australia to graduate with this degree. Grant is now beginning his PhD research looking at what integrated pedagogical content knowledge primary school teachers need to teach effective and authentic STEM in the classroom.
