As teacher librarians we share books to engage, excite and explore stories and ideas with our students. Using the vast amounts of technology available to our students, often ignites curiosity and opportunities for them to be creative and resourceful in their response to stories. Facilitating and guiding students to follow-up with STEM activities and projects can lead to deeper understanding of themes, characters, issues, plots, styles and concepts. This session will share some STE(A)M activities inspired by story!
