We will discuss the relation between resonance, bio mechanics and injuries. When the hand-arm system is exposed to a forced vibration there will be different locations in the body that experience resonance at different frequencies. The resonance is increasing the stress on the tissues and it is hence expected that the injuries increase with the level of stress that the tissues are exposed to.
