Details

Australian organisations have developed and implemented many high performing safety programs. However, we are at a pivotal juncture as organisations look at Where to next? Safety beyond compliance. Systems and compliance have delivered some excellent outcomes. However, many programs and results have plateaued. Progressive organisations are doing great work in strengthening the mental health aspect of their safety program. We are also seeing greater integration of safety into workflow and ownership spread through layers of management and team leaders. The key takeaways from this presentation are: 1. An insight into what is and isn’t working with HSE in Australia. 2. The role that behavioural science can have in increasing engagement and impact against risk. 3. Case study examples 4. An eye to the future - where to next in terms of accelerating traction and outcomes? 5. The argument for stronger integrated programming - joining the dots between safety, mental health, injury risk, sleep/fatigue and health & wellness.
