Details

With changes in Workplace Manslaughter, we all need to more clearly identify what the potential outcomes of these significant changes are likely to be. This presentation will examine the experience of the UK since they introduced a similar change in 2007 (Corporate Manslaughter Act) and discuss how the UK experience is likely to shape Australian legal outcomes of these changes over the near future. We will also look at key legal precedents and what they indicate the various state and territory outcomes will resemble.
