Biography

Scott is currently a Senior Return to Work Inspector with WorkSafe Victoria. Scott has a background in Exercise Physiology and has worked in Return to Work for over 10 years including roles such as Case Management and Occupational Rehabilitation before becoming a Return to Work Inspector. Scott has experience working in Injury Management with National, Self-Insured and Comcare employers. Scott has worked within the RTW and Psychosocial Operations teams at WorkSafe, working with Workers and Employers to manage return to work as well as psychosocial risks within Victorian Workplaces. In his current role, Scott assists to manage a team of inspectors who inspect workplaces and use education and enforcement of employer’s obligations to support injured workers with their recovery and return to work.

Biography

Ian is the manager of the return to work Inspectorate at Worksafe Victoria and oversees the Inspectorate’s presence across all of Victoria. He has over 21 years’ experience in workers compensation and health and safety including roles as a Return to Work Coordinator and Health and Safety manager in various industries from automotive to food and government. Over the past 18 years with Worksafe Ian has been appointed as both a return to work and health and safety inspector. Ian has spent the past 12 years with the return to work Inspectorate, developing the team from its inception. Ian brings a wealth of knowledge in relation to employers and the organisational factors that may give rise to a claim and the barriers that may arise when returning workers to the workforce.

Biography

Brad is a multi-discipline regional Inspector for WorkSafe Victoria. Brad grew up and resides in the Goulburn Valley. After many years of working in the manufacturing, engineering and construction trades, including housing, commercial, agricultural and the water industries Brad followed his passion and broadened his knowledge, skills and passion for health and safety. Brad would nearly class himself as a ‘self-professed safety nerd’. Brad operates out of the Shepparton office, and visits workplaces across the Northern region and beyond. As a regional Inspector, Brad helps to guide and ensure that all duty holders meet their obligations under the Occupational Health Safety and Dangerous Goods Acts that he is appointed under.
