By promoting empathy, critical thinking, and diverse perspectives, this presentation will encourage fellow educators to explore disability not as a topic confined to specific individuals but as a shared human experience that everyone can contribute to understanding. It calls for the dismantling of the stigma that often isolates students with disabilities and instead envisions a classroom community where all students, regardless of ability, feel valued and included. Ultimately seeking to inspire action among students and educators to create a more inclusive environment, ensuring that disability awareness, accessibility and inclusion becomes a collective responsibility, not just one that falls on the shoulders of those with lived experience.
